An ancient African fairy tale tells of the day when a great forest fire broke out.

All the animals left their lairs and ran away frightened.

While fleeing as fast as lightning, the lion saw a hummingbird that was flying in the opposite direction.

Where do you think you’re going? There is a fire we have to escape!

Asked the King of the forest.

I go to the lake to collect water in my beak to throw on the fire.

The hummingbird replied
