The MARTINA Vintage is a rocking chair featuring hand-welded iron rod legs and a spacious seat with a long, comfortable iron backrest, padded with technical material for added comfort.

The upholstery is made of wood that has been specially treated to be flexible and soft to the touch, similar to leather.

MARTINA Vintage is crafted from black fossil oak, sourced from ancient wood found in riverbeds across Northern Europe. The natural fossilization process that occurs underground gives the wood an intense black color and a unique, natural finish. This process, which involves the interaction of tannins dissolved in acidic water with minerals in the soil, creates a one-of-a-kind effect.

Although sourced from the same tree species, the wood pieces may vary in color due to factors such as the wood’s age, the part of the tree it was taken from, and the environmental conditions in which it grew. Some pieces may be lighter, while others may be darker or exhibit different shades.

Knots and grain patterns also vary, creating unique designs and motifs on each piece.

The wood essence is selected, processed, cut, and then hand-sewn, stitch by stitch, a detail that enhances and makes the product unique.
