The passion for the conception and design of aesthetically valid objects and forms in relation to their functionality. The enhancement of the freedom of choice and the purpose of use of each product because as a design object it is the result of thought, thought to do and to be.
To do and to be different things. A lamp doesn’t only work when it’s on.
It’s 2016, a pencil, a blank sheet of paper, signs and then a set of images begin to take shape. A sketch, the note of an idea, a set of suggestions and LEI is born.
LEI, elegant and sumptuous, soft and original lines, light and versatile: a floor lamp.
Over time, the project matures and the inspiration given by reconnecting to existing things and languages by reinterpreting them, makes LUI, a chandelier and LALTRA, a suspended lamp: three products born from a single body.
Design, understood as an original rereading with an updated language of things made in the past, therefore becomes a mission and the PIPEDESIGN brand is born.
The philosophy behind the brand is to integrate creative ideas with the know-how and market experiences of local artisan companies but not only. Hence a meticulous attention to the production phases, the shape, the material, the color, the function, the packaging, the transport and every aspect that safeguards the identity and uniqueness of each PIPEDESIGN branded product.
Due to its mechanical characteristics, iron becomes the first material used by the company, the leitmotif of each project: light but solid at the same time.
The plays of light are combined with those of the materials: glass and marble enter the designs to embellish QUBO, a multifaceted space composed of multiple modules created with the iron rod and joined together using 3D Printing. The imagination of those who see it determines its shape.
QUBO represents the company’s philosophy: versatile, eclectic, multifaceted, original, creative.
The suggestion of a moment, the creative reinterpretation of an image, the reworking over time of a multiplicity of ideas: every PIPEDESIGN project is inspired by this and not only.
